| I didn't think it was the smartest bar-lounge in Alresford last Friday evening but that wasn't putting off what seemed to be most of the town's older residents who were in there drinking (many with well-behaved dogs). Nobody seemed to be dining in the plusher restaurant and I wonder how many stayed out past 8pm? | I called in to this pub for lunch. Ther are a range of real ales served, mainly from local breweries, which is a good sign. The fixed price menu gave plenty of choice, at two courses for �10. The old sign for the"Market Inn" is still prominent on the front, why? jbsjazzer - 3 Feb 2012 15:01 |
