2 handpumps on, usually a guest ale and there own beer. clean and tidy with a nice decked area with heaters for the smokers. Bit soulless and doesn't look to be child friendly?

Fairly busy when I popped in a few weeks back but to be honest there really doesnt appear to be any competition locally. The place is nicely done up and with 2 out of 4 handpumps available i was pleasantly surprised, the pint of Falstaff was very good, 7/10

It was a shame to lose the "Erewash" and I wasn't sure about changing the layout and losing the 2-room set-up but it seems to have worked very well. It's been decked out nicely and is certainly much smarter than the Erewash ever was. They've got involved with some local brewers and so there is normally some great ale available as well. There's normally a good atmosphere in there and there's a decent sized beer garden as well.

An enterprising refurb a few years ago, the pub has remained reasonably smart, with a good choice of beers (including a 'Locale'), and good quality food at reasonable prices. The Sunday lunch is well worth trying, but it's best to book.
