Friendly pub, real ales on good form. Food looks and smells good and is cheap.

Recent addition to the local real ale scene, which has been subject of several recent plaudits. I visited today and tried the Everards Golden Zest, which was nothing short of excellent. The pub itself is traditional in style, and there was a nice friendly welcome on my first visit. Well impressed, and will visit again soon.

Visited on Saturday 10th April. Had a fantastic meal in the restaurant upstairs and then went downstairs where they had a live band playing music from 60's, 70's thru to current time. Absolutely had a great night and sampled the real ale before purchasing. Nice crowd of local people in! Will be back soon!
