| Stayed at the Inn on the Lake and went looking for a pub. The Ramblers is more or less joined to the hotel and looks great from the outside. Unfortunately the whole place has a sterile chrome gastro feel. Go to the Ratchers Bar just down the road which has all the character that they've ripped out of this place. | Stopped by twice on our recent (April 2011) trip to the Lakes. It has a clubhouse feel, rather than pub, with surprisingly few tables and lots of floor space. Very popular with families, (like ours) with football & pool tables and a super outdoor play area to keep them occupied. We had a supe tapas sharing platter & the kids meals were good quality too.
