Lunch for 4. Beer was excellent, well stored and good pipes. Food was very good.....as usual. The Sunday "roast" menu was pretty huge on the plate and just because it is not listed does not mean the chef cannot produce it! All in all a very good excursion out of a rainy day.

Had dinner here tonight and it was enjoyed by most of out party.
Very small dining area which can feel a bit cramped if all the tables are occupied. However the atmosphere is very cosy and friendly.

Seemed to be understaffed though there were 3 women on front of house and there aren't really that many tables.

Food was well presented but my main criticism is the lack of vegetarian food. There was only one vegetarian option of blue cheese risotto which did not appeal.

However, if you like upmarket dishes such as lobster thermidore or sea bass then you will enjoy eating here.

I agree with the comments made by forcam. We only pop in for a 'Seafarers' these days. The interior is nice - nautical bits and bobs. The staff are friendly. A pub I have visited on and off for years. The atmosphere on Christmas Eve when we popped in was excellent. Really good. Mince pies going round, music. Looking forward to a similar atmosphere this year!

Popped in as passing by. Excellent pint of Seafarers Ale filled to the brim. Full measures seem to have been the norm for some time now. Stopped going there about a year ago because of the short measures and no interest in the customers by the staff. Much friendlier now.
