Sadly this pub has been closed 12-18 months now and is now a block of flats.

I honestly am speechless to have read the comments that have been posted about this pub. I have never heard such nonsense in all my life , after been taken over by new management whom has done just about everything to please everyone that comes in . I just cannot understand how some people can be so nasty and post comments like that . I travelled from ireland and happened to have the privilege to have visited this pub . I found the atmosphere very warm and inviting , the locals were very friendly and eager to include you in their conversation. Good food and entertainment , bar staff were welcoming and friendly , clean and tidy pub , would have no hesatation bringing any of my family and friends over to it , I spent six fabolous nights with locals singing and having a laugh , i would recommend this pub to all , i will be coming back .

Tidy but uninspiring pub. The good news? The John Smiths was off. The bad news? The Tetleys was on. Had a quick pint and went in search of a decent beer between here and Turkey Street station (and failed).
