user reviews of the Sun and Woolpack, Enfield

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Used to be a cracking pub, but a succession of poor managers/publicans in the last 5 years or so and not so much as a lick of paint to the interior have turned it into the sort of pub that is best avoided.

Another establishement that reeks depression and that isn't too good when you're a depressive yourself.

For a single man of 27 there is next to nothing to entice you in, used to be a regular drinking hole (when I was much younger).

Again a shame.

As a building, there are traces of character inside this place, but it is now very run down with no sign of real ale (just three old, white handpumps standing as immobile as tombstones) and thus a 'choice' of Tetleys Smooth and John Smiths Smooth. More customers than in the previous review, though.

Went in last Friday night but walked out again straight away as there was absolutely no atmosphere and only one customer who appeared to be chatting up the barmaid. Went to the Turkey 'round the corner and it was extremely lively in comparison.
