| As a building, there are traces of character inside this place, but it is now very run down with no sign of real ale (just three old, white handpumps standing as immobile as tombstones) and thus a 'choice' of Tetleys Smooth and John Smiths Smooth. | Went in last Friday night but walked out again straight away as there was absolutely no atmosphere and only one customer who appeared to be chatting up the barmaid. Went to the Turkey 'round the corner and it was extremely lively in comparison. BobOs - 22 Dec 2008 11:23 |
