| Located at the top of the Village puts this pub a mile or so away from the other Ackworth pubs. Maybe a poor location so you'll need something special to attract people - the surrounding houses don't look like those frequented by pub goers. In recent years its been open and closed several times suggesting the wrong offering? So, mid week, June 2012 and a quick pint whilst travelling. Six thirty and already some tables occupied by diners. A welcome pint of TT landlord whilst reading the paper and watching the world (and the food) go by. So I can certainly recommend the beer.
