please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

An atmospheric old pub, which is just right for a pilgrimage village. I have never found the licensees 'unfriendly, or rude', but perhaps a little odd, however some would find the village a little odd, so again, it's par for the course. Beer always well kept - as food is always provided in pilgrim hostels, I've never had the opportunity to eat here, but the prices seem reasonable, and I'm told the food is good. Well worth a visit.

Good selection of ales. Quirky old pub with many cosy corners.

However, the people that run the pub are very unfriendly, rude and slightly odd, which is a great shame as I've visited Walsingham for many years and have frequented the Bull on numerous occassions in the past. I'll not be doing so again after this weekend.

A lovely old building full of odd corners and snugs - really nice place to have a pint or two, particularly in winter when it's very cosy

Beer pretty good too. A better bet than the Black Lion in the same village I think

pleasant pub; friendly barman; adnams bitter, black sheep bitter and a superb pint of bass on the bar.

they only do food at lunchtimes to cater for the hoards of pilgrims attending the various christian shrines of one flavour or another that give the town a reason to exist. presumably they've all gone off in their coaches or to an early bed by the time anyone else ventures out for a pie and a pint.

some interesting little nooks and crannies in the pub and a large fireplace that i'm sure will hold a welcoming blaze during the winter.

A decent pub with 3 cask ales.

No food in the evening, however, which is surprising.
