user reviews of the White Hart, Hartlebury

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Visited this place for Sunday lunch yesterday. 2 of the 3 handpulls were clipped, with Woods Shropshire Lass & Timothy Taylor Landlord on. The cider of choice is Stowford Press. Lunch was fairly good and prices are now £10 for 1 course, £14 for 2 or £18 for 3. So inflation has certainly set in since the last review in February. Agree that it is more of a restaurant than a drinkers pub now. But nevertheless, there were al few locals in the smaller room by the time we were leaving.

Agree with last reviewer. This pub has been refurbed in 2011 and bar / dining area has been swapped around. This means that its now a food pub rather than a drinking place. The dining area is spacious and well laid out. The sunday menu was very good value (all mains 9, two courses 12, three 15). The food was very high quality and felt represented value for money. Beer was Doombar and this was as good as the food. Highly recommened and we will return.

Lovely village pub, recently refurbished, under new management. Very tasteful decor and pleasant ambience.

All meals were delicious - starters were unusual and beautifully done, mains cooked to perfection and very tasty, desserts were magnificent.

Landlord very friendly and attentive. Service throughout was excellent.

Recommend without hesitation.

A typical village pub in a lovely rural setting -and is there a bigger beer garden in Worcestershire?

Great -if pricey- guest beers on offer, and the barmaid on a thursday lunchtime is gorgous!!
