Amazing! This pub has just reopened after closing a few years ago. Thankfully it has nothing in common with its previous incarnation which was awful. Brilliant selection of local craft ales on tap and bottles, plus amazing Sunday roast. Have just spent a wonderful afternoon in what is my now new favourite local. Definitely worth a visit

It has indeed closed down.

I can imagine Grecian's comment here being true, since I stuck my nose in there one July evening this year and retreated hastily. The barman and the five local gents squatting malevolently in a corner looked like they were planning the next great train robbery, and I didn't want to be pressed into driving their getaway motocar...

CAMRA's North London newsletter reports this has now shut.

The Bedford is a down-at-heel pub in a down-at-heel area. If you're after real ale, forget it. The pub was dominated by the extremely loud jukebox when I went in on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of Arsenal memorabilia was in evidence so I imagine this could get busy on matchdays.
