please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Now the Sovereign's charging WAY too much this is a great alternative. Personally I found the clientele really charming, great craic. And I don't live on the estate no.

No real ale 'tis true but the Guinness is more than satisfactory and less than three quid a pint. Yeez it's a sad day when you say that like it's a bargain but hey ho. I'll certainly go back when next i'm round these parts.

This place has everything that you would expect from a sports bar from the many plasmas screens showing Sky and Setanta to the two pool tables and the dartboard. The barman was nice enough, but I didnt get the impression that the locals are the friendliest of people.

As mentioned before there is no real ale and only bog standard lagers on draught alongside Magners. I also have to report that my pint of lager was flat as a pancake.

This is by no means a great pub, but it serves a purpose and I probably wouldnt grumble if I had a few mates with me for some darts or pool.

A pretty unpleasant pub which as Mr Newton suggests is largely an estate pub. No real ales, and a garishly lit interior. The bit of the pub by the entrance to the toilets reeked - no other word for it. Oddly there was a large fish tank in there. Didn't like this, and wouldn't go back.

Sports bar serving mainly the flats around Harrington Square. Offers Sky TV showing all league matches, and some other sports fixtures. Quite spacious, with a beer garden, pool table and dartboard. Food is available, a sign on the exterior currently advertises Indian cuisine.
