This pub sits on the corner of two roads and the beer garden overlooks the road but it is still very pleasant, especially as the beer is kept so fantastically well and the staff/clientele are all so friendly. Seemed quite small/snug inside, though there might have been a bit more that I didn't see.

Well managed traditional style pub with a nice atmosphere. Roast taters on the bar on Sunday lunchtime!

Went back here again some 18 months later. Pub doing a good trade. Food absolutely excellent. They's introduced a credit crunch menu - 2 selected dishes for 10. 2 of us had the ham, 2 eggs and chips. Beautiful thick ham cut from the bone and in plentiful supply. The chef was a lady in her 70's and boy was the food good! Excellent real ales served from the back room and a friendly dog who'd learnt how to unlock the bar hatch.
We were on our way to a certain pub in Mundon but we got to the door and it said no-one under the age of 18 after 7pm. Our daughter is 15 so we left. The pub appeared empty!
We'll be back to the Roundbush very shortly - families welcome and very informal. How could we have stayed away so long?
