| 4th and final pub of our short crawl. 2 sided bar, busy on 1 side but empty on the other…perhaps the locals aren’t allowed around the other side! 2 beers on, the pint I had was good. | have visited the pub in the past and had a really fun night ther was afree juke box and the landlady and staff was great. how ever my recent visit was bloody awful the couple running the place were stuck up and rude she was wearing rubber gloves to serve beer inbetween cleaning stuff which i found very off putting and the gent paul i think his name was acting like a doorman. he turned away some very ordinary people because he said the were drunk but i heard him say to his wife didnt like the look of them. they seem to have there favourite customers who could get away with any thing but my wife and i were made to feel most un welcome. would not return unless new managers!! milliondollarman - 12 Jul 2010 17:14 |
| in my opinion its an extremely poor run pub, and both the landlord and landlady really havnt a clue how to treat customers and people in general. £3.50 for a pint of guinness and at least £3.30 for fosters. lots of people in hemel have had very simular experiences to mine. no pool table and have replaced pool table with............table and chairs. one to definately miss!!!!! d.jealous - 7 Mar 2009 17:07 |
