Nice and calm and peaceful when I called in for a couple of beers last night. It is an ok pub as far as I'm concerned. I was pleasantly surprised to find that their cheapest ale, Ruddles County, was only £1.49p and Greene King Abbot only £1.99p - a couple of bargains nowadays. I shall return.

No soul...No Heart.. Full of aggresive members of the travelling fraternity (why they are called travellers when they dont travel no where is a mystery)
Beer was awful..lad behind the bar really didnt give a toss, yapping to his mate..
Typical Wetherspoons..
There are some nice boozers in Wisbech.. This a'int one of them

It is what it is. You know what you are getting with spoones, you pay for what you get.
But for a Wetherspoons it's not bad.

Wetherspoons pubs are synonymous with bad beer, worse food, and people who just want to get blind drunk...and this pub is no exception...the area is to be avoided at all costs after 8pm Thurs/Fri/Sat...as for the food, you get what you pay for...Ive had worse, but I have had better, its edible (just)...generally this pub is to be avoided as there are better places to drink and eat!

Wetherspoons is quite a new concept to Wisbech drinkers ! Unfortunately it has caught on with the local travelling population, so Fri/Sat nights are well worth avoiding. Lunchtimes best and when available, the beer is good and sells out quickly.
