Seems to have attracted a much younger clientele over the last year which must be a good thing for the future of the pub. There is usually a live or semi-live music act each weekend. Still the usual old soaks during the day. Lots of meal deals.
Only Wainwright ale available nowadays. The three other handpulls are no longer in use. The odd obnoxious young person at weekend and several customers vaping with impunity.
Overall, an improvement so well done to the manager.

Has had two managers since last post.
Has been badly hit by the opening of the Wetherspoon pub, the Prense Well.
Usually just two Marston's ales available.
Latest manager is trying hard to drum up support. Good luck.

The pub did reopen (see previous post) but the couple who ran it didn't last long before they disappeared and the pub closed again. Now under a temporary manager.
Very few punters last Friday night and some of them were clearly the worse for wear.
Some of the previously barred local idiots were back in.
No real ales available instead of the usual 4 from the Marston's stable.
Badly needs a permanent, experienced manager who can get this place back on track after several years in a downward spiral.

This pub lost its Licence in December 2020 following persistent breaches of Covid-19 Regulations. It will be interesting to see if it reopens on 12/04/21.

A Covid-19 free zone on a Friday and Saturday night and nobody seems to care.
