| After getting past the scarey hoodies on bikes loitering outside smoking herbal 'medicines' I entered and was shocked at the change to this once nice pub that was the Chesnuts. They have made it into a poor version of one of the better Weatherspoon Pubs. I looked at the menu and it oozed frozen food so I decided to go later to the Fizzi Italian next door. I went down the other day to Wood Street to The Pig and Whistle and I think they are doing the same sort of thing there but was told by the builders that that is going to be a gastro pub. | I went there last night. Friendly, helpful bar staff. Really good, reasonably priced food. Things have either picked up a lot since the last comments or I just got there on a really good night!!!.
