please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Went in today, they were unable to provide a pint of IPA without a 3" head despite requesting a southern style pint, The Ruddles was ice cold & the bbott ale undrinkable probably sat in pipes for a week or more... I went to 100 acres for a decent pint of doombar.... How do these people get to run pubs is beyond me!!!!!!!

I have been in Bicester now for twenty years. This pub has had numerous opinionated Landlords but now it has really settled with a great menu quality food at a cheap price 2 for 8.I Visited during the world cup and what an atmosphere the staff were all friendly and the management never stopped working. It was quite clear the amount of effort that went in to the place so everyone young and old could enjoy the world cup with a vip area for children. Its clear to see that so much effort has gone into building the pubs fantastic reputation. i have been back on numerous occasions. i have noticed something going on every night from poker on tuesdays, Live music on thursdays karaoke and discos at the weekend and quizes on sundays. For me an example of a community pub with a great atmosphere and welcoming for all ages. I also found the 3D t.v fascinating.

It's back as the White Horse again. Crap chav pub. I spent 20 minutes waiting to be served one evening. The music was so incredibly loud I physically couldn't talk to anyone. One evening there was a fight in the car park and the landlord was too wet to go out there and deal with it. Didn't even call the police. Rubbish pub. Can't say anything about the beer as I walked out after a 20 minute wait.
