Bland soulless corporate eatery that couldn't sort out a pint of lager on a hot day - gave up waiting and went elsewhere. Needless to say it's a Fullers house.

Went in for the first time for a couple of drinks and dinner on Saturday night. Friendly staff, great beer (four different ales on handpump) and superb pub food. I had haddock, chips and mushy peas and my wife had homemade game pie with mash and peas - both dishes were delicious. Fullers Front Row and Gale's Seafarers Ale were both excellent. Recommended - we will return.

Came here for Christmas Eve, and was very disappointed and unhappy when the last bell rang at 11:00pm. The pub was pretty packed, and everybody was confused and thought that it must have been rung in error....but it was for real. We had to go to other pubs that were open until the normal Christmas Eve closing time of midnight.
Why close a packed pub on Christmas Eve at 11:00pm ? Answers on a postcard please, as nobody that I know can arrive at any sensible conclusion.
And they were charging £4.15 for a pint of Bengal Lancer. Seems like profiteering over the Christmas period to me.

This used to be a good pub, so very disappointed.

This is a great pub on the slopes of the Hill. It was taken over a few years back by landlord Alan (who was at the Half Moon years before when that was the best pub around) and since then the pub has just got better and better. The manager and staff are very professional, the pub and toilets are spotless and a credit to all concerned. All our friends and family are using this pub for food. The beer is perfect and I hear they just got Camra Harrow pub of the year. Well done to these guys the know how to run a pub.

Not a bad Fullers pub on a hill leading up to the old Harrow village. In addition to Seafarers, London Pride and ESB, they also had Adnams Southwold Bitter as a guest beer. Cider is Aspalls. The interior is quite large. But it is a little dull, with that brown paint that pubs seemed to prefer these days not helping matters. Overall though, I found it was quite a comfortable pub and an improvement on the Half Moon just down the road.
