General information: Questionable off yellow / brown colour scheme, but the Pig has not caved and gone up market to vie with it's trendy bar neighbours on Deansgate Lock. DJ on Saturday nights. The toilets are easy - the ladies says "Ladies" and the gents doesn't say anything.

user reviews of the Pig & Porcupine, Manchester

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This has recently gone into receivership and has reopened over the Christmas period. It has had a clean up and the new management are committed to its success. Its well worth a visit. I think the old regulars will be pleasantly surprised as although there have been some changes, the new management have tried to make it feel very much the way it did before.

Big screen for match days. Live DJ at the weekends. Food available.

Take a look.

This pub was sound for a few years.Went seriously downhill when the barmaid turned landlady, ange, decided to upset her loyal matchday regulars.
Would not advise a visit now, only open when they can be bothered.
