Cannot quite understand the rather garbled comments about this pub. We are 6 regulars who have no problem at all and the viscious comments about Margaret, the landlady, are completely uncalled for.

We are always welcomed at the Lamb by ALL the staff. We have used it for years and been regular users throughout various tenancies.

Seemed quiet enough on the two nights that I've visited, too quiet actually. There has only been one person in the pub apart from me so maybe the landlady (who I've never seen) has frightened them off. Good beer and pleasant barmaid so there's not too many negatives part from the lack of atmos.

I have recently visited the lamb in swanley village, out of all the pubs that i have visited i would say that this is the worst one, not due to the pub as it is a lovley surrounding area and is a beautiful piece of history situated in the middle of swanley village, untill i met the landlady, i was greeted with a drunken hello who then decided to shout over everyones conversation and get involved where she wasnt wanted. Her drunkenness turned this good old country pub into another tip, Bear in mind that she was the only drunk person in the pub, who then decided to "slag" off other customers, ones which i gathered who live in the village? The only reason in which i would return to this pub would be to speak to the bar staff, a lovley lady who i was talking to not sure if her name was Janet or Jane, but i held a very sivalised conversation with her and she pours the perfect pint of masterbrew and guinness! Would only return if this lady was here again!
