Not visited for a couple of years, happy to be back. Really pleased to see local fish on the menu , their mediterranean fish stew was top class with big scallops, mussels, white fish and prawns - ingredients change every time depending on what's available.

Roomy Victorian pub with high ceilings, view of river/harbour. Some interesting artwork on the walls. They deserve to do well though might need more staff on sunny summer days.

Visited on 15th Feb just before 2PM. Managed to get a baguette before the deadline at 2 but sadly no real ales on and I'm not a Euro-Fizz lover. Prices not to steep. Very friendly staff and a river front outlook though not very scenic. Could imagine this place would do well on warm Summer days. Seems to be a music venue judging by the posters on the bar walls.

Went on a Bank Holiday Monday for breakfast by the river. Great service, terrific breakfast. Good setting. Nice atmosphere inside cosy, but plenty of room, and being refurbished, outside it was lovely watching the boats. Easy parking/

Look forward to an evening with a band one night and a meal, will write another review
