I popped in during the week, and I can only agree with bigglesworth's second posting, didn't even bother to wait for the only bloke in there to finish playing on his laptop, I reckon that he is pat popov, nobody else would put on a good review.

A good pub! It sells beer, has nice bar staff and regulars, music at weekends, sports on the telly sometimes, bar billiards and a terrace for smokers/sun worshippers.

Since my last posting, this place has gone way downhill, the decoration is tatty, bar staff that don't seem to really care whether they serve you or not, but then the "guvner" is only ever seen playing with his laptop, the place is empty all week, only has a few in at the weekend when there is an overloud tuneless band playing.
And now the Harvey's best has gone up to 3.50, way over the top for a run-down, back street pub.

Seduced by a glorious tiled exterior ~ we was wrong. Nice to see bar billiards. But it was indifferent beer in Guinness glasses. This is a live music venue primarily. Cue bored looking staff and nasty interior. I bet it used to be lovely.
