CLOSED. Now the St Albans Bakehouse Number11 - 9 Aug 2015 13:15 |
i been to this bar and it now is buon amici. admittedly not many of the bars have done well here except radio days due to bein very out of the way.the restaraunt is great upstairs now as it is buon amici which used to be on the collinade christopher place opposite pizza express on verulam road. the restaraunt supports it self very well. the bar how ever is reserverd i think for diners only or special functions. how ever i have heard that this is because it may be going to have a refurb and the existing landlord restaranteer is in the process of relaunching the bar in near future. i will revisit when time is right and post more. restaraunt 9/10 bar 4/10 jodie jodiecarters - 13 Mar 2010 22:08 |

I can hardly believe it, but the new Shisha Bar is even worse than its predecessors! The bar staff don't seem to know the difference between lager and cider, there is a ridulous lack of tables and chairs, and last night they took my money for a drink then 5 minutes later asked me to leave because a private function would be starting soon! (There was no notice about that on the door, and the bouncers had let me in without saying anything.) Well, tish and pish! I shan't be back. historyloony - 29 Apr 2007 08:55 |
The Heritage Bar has closed, and I'm not surprised. It's been replaced by the Shisha Bar, a Lebanese establishment that supports the restaurant upstairs. However the Shisha only opens 3 evenings per week, so I haven't yet made it past the front door. anonymous - 28 Nov 2006 08:45 |
