A nice tidy boozer mainly filled with locals who seemed to all be eating burgers and drinking cider and the place certainly smelt of onions and apples The sound of the birds in the trees is often interrupted by the hooter of a train roaring through the nearby level crossing.Definitely a place to go,ample parking and a good selection of drinks especially cider as the pub is in the heart of Dorset wooser - 16 Apr 2026 21:18
This was a propper old school pub. It has been vandalised and turned into a Lager & Burger bar; staffed by teenagers. Shame. toad_of_toad_hall - 25 Oct 2019 11:17
Large roadside pub, close to the station. Nice welcome from the landlady(?). Ringwood beers. Food was O.K. if a little on the pricey side. captaineric - 14 Jul 2016 11:54
Nice enough pub in small hamlet opposite the station. Decent beer garden at the back. Dissapointing range of ales for these parts, Ringwood's fair enough beers but what about anything else from these parts? As posted earlier I like the nooks where you can drink quietly anywhere and the main (locals) bar is worth a good banter late at night theposh - 1 Aug 2011 18:08
The conservatory made me want to buy a bungalow and take up bowls. deportivo_azul - 2 Jul 2011 22:22
