This pub has recently dropped out of the GBG.

Old speckled Hen , ubiquitous un-unctuous GK IPA, and Adnams. Faced with this very vanilla range as always I opt for the Adnams as my control. Well kept and very enjoyable.

Landlord bought a local a drink (plus marks). Pleasant friendly crowd and a fireplace that is used (plus marks)

So why not in GBG 2010 ? - people aren't going to travel far for those beers, but it serves the locals well.

A fine example of an English country pub, the settees by the fire would be great on a cold winters evening. Nice selection of ales, beer nicely kept , friendly service. Outside area for sunny days. Well worth a visit.

Great Beer, Great Open Fire in the evenings and a real local pub. There isnt many of these about anymore, most have sold out to restaurants etc.

Locals are friendly and the bar staff are greta friendly people.

A rural classic; you might feel it's a bit too much of a local's pub but I felt very welcome. Classic pub decor and exceptional ber.
