Clean pub, but too expensive and too much football.

We stopped going in there when the smoking ban came into place. Before that we drank there several times a week. I don't drink bitter or lager, just cider and Newcastle Brown. And the prices way back then were on the expensive side. I also agree that the manager could do with a course on Customer Service. Its a great pity there are no connecting doors between the 'public' bar, where the noisy oiks and chavs watch perpetual footie and play perpetual pool/snooker, and the 'saloon' bar. Now the spring is here I can sit in my lovely garden, enjoy my cigars and drink beer and wine at half the price.

The manager of this place needs a course in customer services, he's soooo miserable and borders on downright rude when he fancies. Really expensive and lacks atmosphere. We actually feel intimidated on the rare occassions we visit, it's such a locals pub new faces are stared at! Wouldn't recommend. (The indian across the road on the other hand is well worth a visit!)

This pub is well run, clean, and serves very good Harvey's. The back bar is a work of art and is kept so polished it sparlkes. It is also very popular and there is a great Indian restaurant right opposite, so a few pints and a curry is a must when coming to the Wilmy. My missus loves it in here because they put flowers on the table and we can take the dog in too.
The prices are a bit high though, but if it keeps the lady happy then I'm happy too. There are two bar areas, one with a huge pool table and TV and one where you can sit and chat. It ticks all the boxes really, and if it lacks a certain bit of character, it certainly makes up for it in other ways. Well worth a visit if you want to go off the beaten track. Good for a pint before an Albion match.

I can't agree less with the other comments seen for this venue.

The pub is by far the worst in the area.

The atmosphere is non existant and there is a severe lack of personaliity from the staff.

You would not beleive that the Ladies Mile is owned by the same company. The 'Ladies' has a warm atmosphere and friendly staff.

Would rather visit any of the other pubs than dram of sitting in this over rated clicky pub!
