Okay, old reviews here.... This is now called the Castle Court inn, and a great pub... yes, it's a hotel as well, but the bar is full of locals and feels 'pubby'. Always a few real ales on, Facers 'Splendid' ale and a Anarchy pale ale.. Along with The Bull, my favourite Beaumaris pub.. The star of the show is the outside tables in the square, with amazing views of the 12th century castle.. always busy on hot sunny days, and with good reason.. a beer and a view of the 'best castle never finished'....

One room, no frills pub. Not as big as it looks on outside.

Arrived about 7pm looking for a dog friendly pub and a meal. We found it. There was an event (play reading) scheduled for the bar that evening so the owner said he would put a table in the Residents Bar for us to avoid the crowd. Service was excellent and good humoured, food was excellent and was cooked to order by the owner. Can't comment on the beer as had to drive. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Friendliest pub in the town and well kept beers. (Also dog friendly which we found to be a rarity on Anglesey.)
