A magnificent pub. Very good range of crisps and peanuts. Always try to pop in 3 or 4 times a year.

Run by very experienced publicans with well kept beer. Its a clean, well decorated pub in the centre of town. It shows a lot of sport on the television and seemed like a true locals pub. As an outsider I didnt feel particularly welcome.

It's my local and I love it! Not a bad word to say about it.

probably one of the best pubs that i've drunk in for a log time. the landlord, landlandy and staff are all really friendly and helpful. beer in great with a good variety. the place is clean with a great patio and is also dog friendly. they lunchtime food is brilliant and massive portions, well worth a visit

Now it has been refitted, the landlord has really got something to be proud of. And he certainly is having been a regular there, before he took the place over. Staff are always friendly, TV's well situated, ales include Saffron Brewery on occasion which is nice to see. Only trouble is its too small for its popularity, although in summer the outside patio will be a bonus. And to cap it all, its already a non-smoking establishment.
