user reviews of the Snow Goose, Cove

A fairly bland sort of pub. I suppose it could be quite a lively venue. I visited in the afternoon, on my way home from a meeting, a few regulars were it but other than that very quite. The beer was good. I'll give it another go when I'm next in 'these parts'. One thing though.....the Eastern European bar lady was very attractive!!!

Very quiet nowadays, full of the same few faces, and the odd influx of a big Zimbabwean family that live nearby and liven the place up.

Recently renovated so dramatically better.. Just need to get rid of their disco on Friday night the people it attracts lets the place down big time!! However their new Thai kitchen that has recently opened is worth a look great prices superb choices with most dishes being available with choice of meat or tofu or veg and the service cant go wrong!!

recently 'renovated' however whilst it looks clean and relatively modern could have done a lot more to a pub with such potential. Food is good, drinks choice is poor.

Not a bad pub, the staff are nice and the food is good. There's two pool tables and a big screen. Some of the locals are a bit iffy though, and during the day, the place fills with young mums with toddlers and dogs running around, but generally quite a nice pub. big beer garden too and playground.
