Oh dear!
not a good place to go now, food has gone down hill and you may find hair in your meal.
There is no longer an 'adult area' so kids run riot in the bar.
I did complain to the manager and was told that they cannot discriminate against children, so you cant enjoy a quiet drink.
Very sad.

Typical brewers Fayre pub. The food is cheap and tastes worse than a supermarket ready meal. Huge garden for kids to run around in. Bargain basement to take a family for a meal out. Not really a choice of drinkers.

This place should be on foodinthevening instead of here as it has never since being converted from a farm ever fealt like a pub.

Originally it felt like an extension of the Dukes family front room with all thier friends drinking in it, everyone else were just an inconvenience.

Once they sold it for a couple of million it became nothing but a food place.

Never had and never will have a true pub atmosphere.

on a side note, if you fancy a cheap meal after work instead of cooking this could be the place for you.

This is, and always has been, a not too good pub. Poor beer, awful decor, and not the greatest layout. For a pub that was whacked up in the 80's, they could of done a better job.

FYI its the spunkey monkey and it might be cheap but isn't that what Ftown is all about?
