user reviews of the Park Bar, Glasgow

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Lively and "celtic" (not so much the football team, more the culture) kind of pub, with Scotland memorabilia and interesting items from Glasgow's history about the walls and ceiling. Good atmosphere and fun times to be had although it can get a little busy. I imagine it would be better to go during the day if you wanted a bit of space to check the place out properly. Worth popping in if you pass by. Definitely has a bit of character. Fun place.

One to avoid on matchdays, they're oh too happy to take Bluenoses money but they'd go out of their way to make sure you don't enjoy yourself. Louden or District are far better options...

The Park bar is a great pub to visit of you are in Glasgow for a short time. It is the Glasgow haunt of highlanders & Islanders and is often full to bursting with pipes and dancing.
