| Used to be a great rough and ready pub with a circular bar. The kind of place where everyone stood at the bar and spoke to each other even when it was busy. Now it is a glorified tourist trap. Mainly selling meals and beer as a sideline. Can get busyish but more the type of place that unless you are eating you will just have one drink and move on. | Not objectionable, but pretty dull. Didn't eat here. Perhaps it's better if you do? Didn't go with someone who doesn't like pubs. Perhaps better if you do? Comfy sofas. Perhaps I went at the wrong time? Probably nicer at peak hours when it is all buzzing. Not for the traditional pub person really.
