all yuppyfied now, the bar staff dont want to serve you if you are working class and the doorman needs to get a proper job because he cant handle the job he is doing, the area is a total dump for a pub like this should be in chelsea

an authentic depressing boozer, frequented by mainly by irish customers who look like they have come here to die slowly. most customers were sitting in silent pairs or on their own, with lifeless eyes and ruddy noses......on a positive note the prices are fantastic, a round of two stellas, gin and mixer and a red wine came to 11 quid!

Looks a little scary from the outside, but once you're in, it's a fairly decent pub. Proper Irish, with the shamrocks not on the wall, but tattooed to the regulars' hands

This is an excellent pub to watch a game or have an easy afternoon drink, staff are friendly and smart, and the prices beat most other bars on Kingsland Road

Used this pub many times over the years, great for sport, friendly guvnor. Real mix of local area with a large Irish contingent. Good entertainment at weekends
