so its now called a hotel , but they dont have rooms
what are they gonna call it next time? a palace for real ale drinkers?

Large open-plan town centre bar that reminded me of an All Bar One. The rear of the bar featured many alcoves with different types of spirits and wines. 2 handpulls were hidden behind an advertisement and obviously not promoted. Only one appeared to be on - Young's Special. A large raised stage area at the rear indicates that live music is often played. The place was relatively quiet, compared with other Horsham pubs on our Saturday evening visit.

Shame they no longer have a local ale.
This was a meeting place after work when I occasionaly visited a large insurance company in the town.

This place is akin to a meat market on Friday & Saturday nights. Attracts too many chavs with bad attitudes for my liking, but each to their own.

Probably quite nice to visit during the day for a quiet lunch, but the evening experiences have put me off.

Drinks are priced a little above average. No cask ales to speak of when I last visited, but the usual array of lagers and ciders to satisfy the aforementioned clientele. Good selection of wines though.

Getting very tired now decor wise and still smells like they have cleaned the bar etc with stale rags but gets VERY busy at weekends and staff are friendly enough. Only complaint is the Becks Vier served here is awful..........dont know why as rest of the beers are good.
