| Any place where you trip over a 'Please Wait Here to be Seated' sign as you walk through the door doesn't qualify as a pub in my book. There is however a small lounge area for drinking which is quite reminiscent of a lounge bar in a cheap hotel. I suspect that's actually what it is as there is a Premier Inn next door. I wouldn't be surprised if the place was owned by Whitbread as you often find pub/restaurant places like this adjoining a Premier Inn to cater for their guests.
