Closed, with the rumour of it being turned into a nightclub doing the rounds.

This building is the frontage of the old public hall,uised to be where you left coats ect before going dancing ect,originaly called The Corn Exchange then the Flax and Firkin now the Assembly,large screen tv .
Outside seating in summer,food available one drawback it has the horrible statues outside that are supposed to be the Preston Martyrs

A reasonable Firkin, again popular with the students.

There are better pubs in Preston to go to.
