LOL at the previous comments thats just given me a really good giggle. Its really not that bad, i can vouch for that as a member of staff at the "horrible establishment" and its really not that scary, i could think of jdw establishments that is more scary than the picture house. Its an ok place to be the decor is a little dated and dark but still a firnedly place to be :) the staff are ALL helpful. the picture house is a proper dinkers pub, with many loyal, regular customers. the food is also good, we have customers come from other towns that have their own JDW branch as they say the food is better in ebbw vale lol.

Try not to slag off "ebbw spoons" people might take offence. After all if u think its that rough its realy not a good idea to slag it off .... is it :P

love from a member of staff at the Picture House Ebbw Vale xx

One of the scarier JDWS.ON entering,I found a number of strange people staring at me all the way to the bar.Still, the decor is ok if a bit dark and the ale is of acceptable quality.

Deserves its award for the roughest JDs in wales. Full of bruisers and single mums pedling there wares. Yikes horrible establishment.
