Our second stop in Rugby was this branch of Wetherspoon's. There was the usual Greene King selection - Abbot, Morland Old Speckled Hen & Ruddles Best, along with Sharp's Doom Bar, Robinson's Trooper, Phoenix Wobbly Bob & Sarah Hughes' Dark Ruby Mild. The cider was Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon. Exposed pipework give the place a modern feel. Not too bad. We moved on from here to the Town & County Club (not listed on BITE).

Good spoons.

Basic, but modern looking 'spoons...beer selection not very extensive (unlike spoons normally) when i went in...but i had a pint, played the quiz machine and watched the sports news on the tele behind the bar..what more could you want....well loads more actually!

The London Inn had less than a qtr of the poeple in that this place had but it still had more life to it.

I like this pub because it does what it says on the tin. It's a Wetherspoons and it delivers cheap beer and food. I expect nothing more and nothing less.
