| Visited as a useful RV before a funeral at Harwood Park. As a visitor it was good to try the three McMullens ales on offer; the AK was my favourite. Returned later for an excellent meal. Staff very friendly and reasonable prices Latitude - 25 Jan 2011 23:49 |
| Beer was good tonight. Pub seemed to have a few people around about 21.15 and then after about half hour it emptied almost completely. I don't go here very often and haven't eaten here for ages but it seems so nice here so I'm always surprised it's not busy. | more a restaurant than a pub. nice beer garden, but on the horrifically busy a602. mcmullens beer, so don't expect too much, although things have improved since they moved from the old brewery, i think. food is brake brothers standard; open the packet, microwave, fry, grill. not terrible, though. prices are reasonable, for what it is. staff friendly, but a bit scatty; things can go wrong if busy. breadncheese - 29 Jul 2010 09:54 |
