| Lovely drop of Harveys. Great service too. A wedding party came in just as I went to the bar and the landlord was busy with them, so he called to the kitchen for reinforcements and I was served straight away. Food was good too. I liked the 'Bull Dog' - Korkers sausage and my friend's Ploughmans looked the best I have seen in a long while. The pub is up a steep climb from the station, but the walk is worth it and crosses the river on a narrow bridge. Take a camera. MrBabble - 8 Aug 2010 11:32 |

| This place seems to have moved somewhat up-market since my last visit, with a friendly welcome and Cask Marque accredited beers. No "tatooed thugs" in evidence, just a few lads playing darts and minding their own business. rpadam - 23 Jan 2008 22:44 |
