| I dont know the Epperstone area well, however I stumbled across the Cross Keys pub at around 630 on Saturday night. Although we were just going for a few drinks we ended up staying all night as there was a fire work display and a BBQ. The pub has just been taken over by new management and although this is the first time we have ever been, it was very welcoming and seemed to cater for all types of customer. We didnt know anyone in the area however that didnt stop everyone chatting to us, we had such a great time so we went back for Sunday lunch the following day, (I can definitely recommend the cauliflower cheese).
