| Another horrible pub in Anstey! This pub has had a long history of bad landlords & landladies. It is currently being run by fill-in staff until it is taken over by new management. But new prospective managers be cautious. This pub has such a long history of trouble, that it's regulars have been frequenting there for years, in a sort of lawless community & you will have a very difficult time bringing the pub up to any reasonable standard. It needs to be totally remodeled, the bar is in the wrong place, the toilets are disgusting, the main bar which attracts more people is smaller than the lounge which hardly anyone sits in! & the majority of the staff & locals need strict guidance. It's a bizarre pub, & so tightly packed of a weekend that you can't sometimes get to the toilet without bumping into people who are quite capable & willing to hit you for it!
