They do seem to be cutting back on staff. Only one bar person on and one manager type running around. And struggling with a new menu. I had something quite nice to eat the other day - but was amazed to see some member of staff or worker sit down at the next table and proceed to eat his lunch out of a plastic container in front of customers.

Wandered in here at 230pm on Saturday thinking that it's usually quiet enough in there at that time to have a drink, get served, get a seat. There was about 25-30 punters in, including a table of 10 ordering food ... infact they were asking about the menu (it's all bar one what bit of chicken skewers don't you get) ... there was one member of staff present who was standing taking their order ... he looked across at the bar as more and more punters started to wait ... eventually someone asked him if there were any other staff on ... the reply was a curt "no" and he continued to take the food order - this despite big notices saying order food at the bar?!! He didn't even bother to pop to the kitchen door and ask the chef to come out and deal with the order while he served the half dozen or so other punters. Since the manager changed this place has plumetted from what was a fairly good wine bar/meetign place to a below average All Bar One. The Pitcher and Piano across the road must be loving it.

Nice enough to meet in and grab a quick bottle of wine - but in recent months service plummeted. Staff can't be bothered prefering to gossip at end of bar and make sure you check what they charge you.

Give me a wrecking ball and five minutes. All the people who believe that "you can't complain" about such places can sit inside if they want. Numpties.
