| I got dragged in here by a colleague with a craving for Pimms. Two members of staff saw me patiently cradling my cash at the bar, and both ignored me until I actually waved at them. As others have said, there's really no excuse to end up here. Thankfully, no one can any more as it's closed! Last time I walked by it was being completely gutted and there are rumours it will be come a Gaucho grill (which is just what the steak-gobbling, Claret-swilling city boys in the area need). anonymous - 6 Jun 2008 02:20 |
| Shocking place. My friend waited 10 mins to be served (on a Tuesday afternoon), then paid for a beer and a cider. He brought the beer over, went back for the cider, to be told that they don't actually sell it! Bar staff have no idea. stuartw - 24 Mar 2008 16:26 |
