New management again. Good beers, many guest ales, friendly staff and pretty good menu. Also feature nights - Bike night, Live Music.

This pub was recently refurbished and has a really nice feel to it. Been there a few times over the last couple of weeks and always been served quickly by really lovely bar staff. Ate there yesterday - really good food, can recommend the hand-battered halloumi! They have at least four beers on tap, plus plenty of lagers, wines and others. The garden is lovely. Because of where it is it gets a little noisy, especially when the kids on mopeds go past, but the nice high hedge means you don't have to look at them! Mixture of ages, and everyone seems to be there to just have a good time. Not the usually amounts of tattoos that you seem to get in other pubs in Abingdon (most notably the Boundary House!). The 'alternative olympics' held there last week was just hilarious! Long may the good atmosphere continue.

Nice large pub but woefully slow service. Some of the beers had run out but what they had was fine.

visited this pub on august 8th this year for a 35year school re-union,i met up with 3 very good friends from school,i went into the pub as it was the first one i found open at 11am,i found the staff friendly and helpful, the choice of real ales was limited on the day, whatever i chose though was very drinkable,a really nice pub with a smart beer garden and a super looking exterior, recommended

A fairly large pub on the outskirts of Abingdon. Nice large garden to the front of the pub and a decent sized car park as well. Has anything up to 8 real ales available. Usually 4 from the Greene King stable and up to 4 guests. If only all Greene King pubs had such a choice !
The service can be a little slow sometimes but the staff are pleasant enough. This is a good place to start a pub crawl along Ock Street into the centre of Abingdon.
Noticed a big sign outside saying 'Price Drop, Fosters only 2.80' ! I hate to think what it was before !
