user reviews of Four Seasons, Laindon

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This was one of the worst pubs I have ever visited - and I have visited many I can tell you. The food was uneatable, the GK IPA was off, (after an argument they changed it) and the place felt very unkempt. I had never heard of the Hungry Horse chain before, as we normally avoid food pubs, but we have now and we know to avoid them like the plague. Perhaps the place just reflects the customers, surely they can do better than this?

This pub is absolultly horrible.
yes it has had a refurbishment but i still does not mean that the attitude of the owner has changed.
she allows her regulars have free food and drink and even allows the regular children in2 the play area free!! so it leave people like me to pay and get treated bad and have uncooked chicked brought to my table.
instead of spending so much money on the refurbishement it should have been spent on rectifying the owners attitude to her staff as she does not mind treating them like something on the side of a curb in front of customers!!!

This is an ok pub. But I wouldn't go there had it not been literally 2 mins walk from my house (I look out at it from my kitchen window).
A typical Hungry Horse pub, usually lots of swearing, smoking and kids running around. Only has Green King IPA on tap for the ale drinkers out there, but bottled Speckled Hen.
Food is reasonably priced, and ok if you really can't be bothered to cook.

Hungry Horse. Man am I fed up with that bug-eyed equine motif. Big menu, if you like burger/chips-type fair. Other than that, gets crowded on a Friday lunchtime with Ford workers and they quite often have a shortage of staff during busy periods. OK, I s'pose (good, for the area).
