| Just had to mention a beer on draft during my last visit... Phipps NBC Bison Brown. I understand the bottle version was a best seller in days gone by, and I have to say if you like Brown ale this is a must. | Totally agree with Blue Scrumpy... By far the best beer choice in the village, and always kept well. Usually Original, Tiger, Sunchaser and three guests. Food is good and reasonably priced as well. | The Soar Bridge probably has the best ale selection in this town - Everards Tiger, Sunchaser & Original, Banks & Taylor Black Squirrel, Batemans XB & Castle Rock Crafty Flanker. Cider was Westons Family Reserve. The last of the Sunday lunches was being consumed and live rugby was on the TV. I preferred the Navigation for location.
