| The Eden Arms is a modern purpose-built pub and is part of the Ember Inns chain. It is next to a Tesco supermarket and a housing estate. There is plenty of space inside. But it also has a patio at the front, that was popular on our sunny Sunday afternoon visit. The ale selection was Brakspear Bitter, Black Sheep Ember Pale Ale, Abbeydale Moonshine, St Austell Cornish Best & Harviestoun Summer Legend. | This pub is brilliant with excellent food and patient, friendly staff. Drinks were fairly priced and they three staff working last Sunday when a group of about 30 of us turned up wanting feeding managed to deal with us competently and fully professionally. If you're in the area and looking for somewhere to have a quiet drink (no TVs visible when we were there and there was an FA cup semi on at the time) or a decent meal then you won't be disapointed if you choose The Eden Arms. cs192 - 2 May 2006 01:25 |
