user reviews of Four Topped Oak, Widnes

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

me and a friend recently went to the four topped oak, and we ordered the offer of meals for 4 before 5pm i had the fish and chips but i didnt feel like having chips so asked for a salad, my friend ordered the sole fillet with baby potatoes done rosemary and a salad. unfortunately the potatoes looked like they were done in the microwave, they were all dry and shriffled, she did complain and we did get an apology. overall its a lovely pub but the customers we think were snobby as we were leaving my friends mobile rang and they all were looking at her in discust.

moved away from the area came back recently what a shock thought id walked into an IKEA showroom., the staff were very ignorant and werent welcoming at all and as for the the beer you can buy better in a can have completely ruined what was an original local pub maybe it was an off night so have given it a rating of 1 for being open
